The City of Middletown is accepting resumes for the position of Community Projects Coordinator.

This position is responsible for developing, organizing, and executing a variety of city-sponsored events that engage the community, promote local businesses, and enhance civic participation. Position works directly with city staff to help assist and coordinate in event planning and promotion. This position will be responsible with a wide range of projects related to day-to-day event operations. Work involves planning, implementing, and evaluating special events, maintaining equipment and safety standards; developing and maintaining partnerships with local service organizations and businesses; and supporting communication, marketing and social media efforts for events and programs.

Requirements: Graduation from two- or four-year college degree in Event Planning, Public Relations, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of training and experience in event planning, development, hospitality field, and office administration.
