Job Description:
GENERAL FUNCTION: Direct and control all
Retail/Wholesale Lockbox Operations within the Bancorp, ensuring
that employees, equipment, and materials are used properly to
maximize productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Directs workflow of Lockbox, maintaining optimum efficiency and
cost effectiveness while ensuring that production standards are met
and maintained.
. Responsible for developing and managing a risk management process
within each functional area and ensuring that all areas meet
Bancorp guidelines.
. Responsible for the development, maintenance and annual testing
of Business Resumption plans.
. Participate in sales calls and meets frequently with
customers.
. Troubleshoots escalated issues and problems within assigned area,
referring only the most complex problems to more senior
management.
. Assists in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of
company operational policies, by serving on committees relative to
operations and equipment and by collaborating with others in the
company in the study and review of proposals.
. Directs the study and establishment of new and revised systems,
procedures, methods, and forms that would be used in, or have an
effect on, the operations activities under the functional
area.
. Stay informed of new developments and ideas, which would affect
the area by visiting other companies and equipment manufacturers,
attending various association meetings, and interviewing
vendors.
. Responds to complex questions from customers and internal staff
members regarding area activities.
. Reviews reporting of area activity.
. Evaluates and recommends resources needed to accommodate
increases in volume related to Wholesale Lockbox due to mergers,
acquisitions, centralization, and new business.
. Perform all work in accordance with established health and safety
procedures.
. Perform any other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees
timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing
employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging
opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developingthe
appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and
succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for
accomplishments.
